Viva Fest 2023

Viva Fest was my first ever circus competition. I competed in the 2023 emerging professional category. This category signifies that I am not yet a professional aerialist on my apparatus, but I am an aspiring artist. This was also the first performance I did since moving to Las Vegas in October of 2022. I entered this category with the intention of hitting all my skills correctly and having a good time. I actually believe I did very well and I know that I performed the best I could. I ended up taking 5th place in my category, which is technically last. Although my ego took bit of a bruising, I couldn’t be happier with the opportunity to perform and the chance to put my heart out on stage. I will compete in the same category in March of 2024 and I couldn’t be more excited! I believe I’ve made a lot of improvements to my technique and strength so we will have to wait and see what the judges think of my new routine.
